Hegel as opposed to Leftism/ Hegel can be abused, but so can Kant as he was adopted by Post Modernism. There is no system that cannot be abused.

I think the left made its progress by taking the name of Hegel in vain and misappropriating some of his slogans and by misunderstanding him (maybe on purpose) to fit.
